King Frederik IX's award for excellence in export

It is a great pleasure to announce that today at 11 a.m. Tican a.m.b.a. has received
KING FREDERIK IX's AWARD
FOR EXCELLENCE IN EXPORT
The award was presented by His Royal Highness The Prince Consort at a ceremony at Fredensborg Castle. Participants from Tican were Chairman of the Board Jens Jørgen Henriksen, Managing Director Ove Thejls and Sales Director Torben Nielsen.
Tican a.m.b.a. was nominated for the award for "excellence in increasing the turnover and export of pig meat products over a number of years in an international market characterised by trade barriers, strict product requirements and tough competition".
Among others we are characterised by:
| - | A very high and increasing export share of more than 90%, which is substantially higher than the average in this line of business
|
| - | A positive development of the market share in markets characterised by strict food safety requirements and technical trade barriers, including Japan, Australia and Russia
|
| - | An increasing export turnover in a strong, international and competitive market for pig meat products - which makes heavy demands on quality, service and flexibility
|
| - | Having a clear strategy for marketing partly the company and partly Denmark as an export country
|
| - | Ensuring increasing production, turnover and employment in the north-western part of Denmark |
At Tican, we are very proud of having received this award. Undoubtedly, this is an acknowledgment of what Tican stands for and the efforts we have all made to be able to deliver pig meat products of the highest quality, which - we are pleased to say - is also recognised by consumers all over the world.
