Tican Chilled Ltd. sells and distributes Tican's own products and also beef, poultry meat and delicatessen products from all over the world to the UK market. Its customers are independent butchers, delicatessen outlets and small wholesalers. Tican Chilled Ltd. is a subsidiary, 100% owned by Tican UK Ltd. Its headquarters are in Walsall, near Birmingham in the UK, a central location with over 6 million consumers. Expanding the business
We are pleased to announce that Tican Chilled Ltd. in the UK have purchased A Reynolds & Sons Ltd. situated in Boston. Tican Chilled Ltd. is a 100% owned sales and distribution company of Tican UK Ltd.
A Reynolds & Sons Ltd. is a family business originally founded in 1946. It has developed from a Danish bacon wholesaler to a meat distribution company.
Tican have had a lengthy and close business relationship with this company and the owners have found a good and sound platform to integrate the two businesses.
A Reynolds & Sons Ltd. operate a similar business to the current Tican Chilled Ltd. business, but mainly in the East Midlands. The company has a turnover of approx. £ 12 m per annum.
Integrating the two companies will give better coverage of the country and will further strengthen and develop Tican Chilled Ltd.
Becoming part of the Tican a.m.b.a. group of companies A Reynolds & Sons Ltd. is an opportunity to further strengthen the customer base and develop the business in accordance with our strategy.
